Ahem. Panda, dont' want to criticize...but:
First: How are we supposed to DETERMINE the ranks in the first place? Is this in terms of activity, input, or what...?
Second: Once we've done that, how are we going to ADVANCE the people? I think it might be painful to have to advance members of the guild.
Third: I don't want envy in this guild. That's almost like putting a "social rank" system on this guild. Poor people at the bottom, average people in the middle...and so on. I'm not sure this is such a good idea, because the "lowest" people might feel left out, or the "highest" people will get big-headed and super prideful. This could cause splits in the guild based on rank.
Fourth: I'm glad to see you have some ideas for this guild. biggrin This is the first time anyone has used this thread. Thank you for your input! biggrin
But, this decision isn't up to me - it's up to the mod board as a whole...So, what I say isn't final. If someone can put up a good arguement for this, I'll consider it - but for now, I'm against it. 3nodding

So the guild is closed down now? I read the Captain and Crew room... If that is true I guess this will be my last post for awhile.

No! The guild isn't closed down. We are TALKING about it. But, it's not confirmed yet. When the guild is closed down, you will know. Everything will be locked up, and PMs will be sent to members left and right.
I'm sorry I don't have the exact date. The guild mods are still thinking about it, and due to the current discrepincies [my spelling sucks], it's been laid off to the side. However, we will be getting back on track soon. Expect the closure to be around mid February, if not later.

Yeah. But I haven't been recieving much support from the mod board, so I'm not going to start anything until I have more support. I don't want this to turn out as a "personal store", or it will fail [because I don't have the time nor energy to host that kind of thing in addition to everything else].
I need:
-A banner/artwork for the store.
-A confirmed name. Pandemonium to the Fifth Power is my suggestion.
-At least 3 "mods" [storekeepers] for the shop. Each mod will have their own personal shop in the store. They must be dedicated!
-More feedback.
Before I recieve those things, I'm not starting up the shop. This shop will be TOTALLY OUTSIDE OF THE GUILD, but I'm looking for a strong foundation here. So, no rules from here apply to the store. Anyone is welcome to join, anyone is welcome to participate [including non-guild members]. Mod positions will be based on a "first come first serve basis".
I will post more rules/signups for this when more people are interested.
