The walk away from town and through a light forest was fairly silent. Valtayvious lost in his own thoughts, Rathius and Xi more interested in where they were going than conversation. At some point Tyera had taken Rathius' hand in hers, it made her feel better. Not only that she was going to keep him from getting lost, but having his young hand in hers made her feel comfotrable, he was someone she was going to look after and take care of, like her brother had for her for so long.
The looming mountains became larger and larger, though always seeming so far out of reach. Even when the unmarked path turned from dirt to stone the mountains looked no closer.

Xi looks around him and then glares off to the mountains. With an iritated tone in his voice he asks. "So just how much longer to we have to chase after these damn mountains. You would think that by now we would have caught up to them...." He sighs.

(( Well, atm.... Val is on vacation and wont be able to post for about a week or so.... but I am currently thinking on how I want the next part to go. I do hope to have this RP become active again soon. Just need to work out a few bugs in the storyline ^^;; ))
