Beautiful Emotion

Poetry, emotional works of art in just a few words.
Well, that's my definition of it.
All of these poems that I create are probably all about love, friendship, or just something completely random. Some may be from works that I made for teachers as an assignment... xD But others, they're probably things that pop into my head and I feel like... expressing them. ^^ I hope you like them.

I love critics. Tell me what you like about them, what you think I need work on. ^^ I've made a little something so that it'll make it easier for you to judge me! And of course, easier for me to read!

The Flowers In The Grass

The flowers in the grass
Are all lifeless and dead
Just like a life,
That's just up ahead.

No more amazing nights
Hanging with the girls.
Eating so many sweets
You think you're about to hurl.

But a life has to stop
Once in a while,
To meet their own fate
Without another smile.

But it's not too bad.
You'll get to go up high
No more stress,
And you'll fly to the sky.

Off the Coast of California

Off the coast of California,
Where the gray waves dance,
The raindrops fall like tears from clouds.
Through the air they prance.

A war man and his fair maiden
Waltz along the shores.
Her silk dress soaked, she pays no care
From the strong downpour.

A trumpet sounds, a soldier shouts.
'It's time to go out to sea!'
"Wait for me," Thomas pleads.
"I will surely wait for thee."

As the time passes day by day,
Thomas never came back.
His love wait for him on the beach,
Alone under a shack.

The water turns warm,
And then back to cold.
She has lost her hope;
There's no one to hold.

A war man's maiden,
Dressed fully in red,
Was found on the shores,
Heart-broken and dead.

Off the coast of California,
Where the gray waves dance,
