Fav band: Train. I just love their music, especially the song "Calling All Angels"
Fav Song: "Don't Dream its Over" By Crowded House
Fav music styles: Rock, Pop, 80's, Motown (I can't get enough of that soulful music), New Age (omg, I love new age! Its my new passion )
I got an Ipod and I currently have about 850 songs on it, and growing. I LOVE music!

I love just about anything Christian/Gospel.
Carman has been my favorite artist since I was little. He sings in such a broad amount of music styles.
Ray Boltz is next on my list of ones I listen to most.
Then there is; MercyMe, 4Him, Michael W. Smith, etc..

I bought some new music yesterday. Artists were:
Blackmoore's Night (Renaissance Rock)
Nosferatu (Industrial Goth Punk)
Cheb Mami (Rai/Algerian Pop)
I think it's safe to say that I don't have a "type", or perhaps even an attention span. smile

Heh...I know this is kind of because I'm an aspy but I use this as a social equalizer: I have memorized the lyrics to every major song of every single major american (the continent) band currently, aswell as many of the older ones like pink floyd, marilyn manson, etc. sweatdrop (I know that sounds kind of nerdy, but you wouldn't believe how much you can fit in when you can say to someone that you listen to the same music as them. Not to mention I enjoy virtually all forms of music).
Right now though, Nickelback and Creed are my two faves. wink

KMFDM, Eisbrecher, Megaherz, The Kovenant, MCR, Nightwish, 30 Seconds to Mars, Dir en grey, Rammstein, Zeromancer...

I like most kinds of music-- Rock and showtunes top the list, but I also like oldies, punk, ska, barbershop, classical, opera, polka, bluegrass... well, pretty much anything.
Jim Steinman is my favourite composer/lyricist, MeatLoaf is my favourite singer.
I like to stim to 'Touch Me' by The Doors, and I love Pink Floyd when I just need to get into a comfortable headspace and 'float'.
I also have my 'Aspie playlist', songs that sort of 'vibrate' with how I feel about AS and all it entails (sometimes it's literal and derived from lyrics, sometimes it's the music or the feeling it gives me). I'll go ahead and post it for the curious, and if anybody has songs that they feel speak to their aspiness, I hope you post them (I'm a playlist junkie!)

Mostly hard rock (okay, pop rock), like Motley Crue, Rob Zombie, Pink Floyd (I LOVE Dark Side of the Moon), and usually a song that can deal with something real, like controversy.

Yeah I usually like any kind of Rock or Metal music, I like a rap/hip hop/r&b but just oldschool, and some pop as well. All my fave bands are on my pro.
