REILLY AND REGAN
Reilly, the red-headed beauty on the left, is mine. Regan, on the right, is the doll I bought for my mom's birthday.
Reilly is an Ashton-Drake Gallery Blythe. So, she's a cheap remake with greenish skin and horrible hair that dredlocks itself. But I love her. whee
Regan is a Prima Dolly Ashlet, a cheaper Takara (other takaras go for $200+) that is usually used to customize. I am too scared to pop open their heads to do any of the cool customizations.
The original Kenner dolls from the 1970s are sold in the thousands range.
What is so special about Blythes? The big head of course! Inside that large melon is a special mechanism that rotates their eyes by pullspring.
The girls have four eye colors! (which can be customized by prying out their eye chips and slipping in new ones)
Pink and orange are looking forward.
Green looks to the right.
Blue looks to the left.
My roommate got me into Blythes. She has three herself!
I do have a Pullip and Taeyang, but thats a different story...
