there? yes. 1) its Bush's state 2) its the tail end of the bible-belt 3) its extremely homophobic ugh. its totally annoying at least i live in the biggest city (houston) . . . so i can escape to montrose, the local gay community, to be around people like us. but i still get flamed and people think its funny to come to montrose and call everyone they see a f**. its not fun. but tolerable.

Hobbies: Music, and, er, music. I chat a lot online, so getting to know people and creating a friends network, too. Debate, Forensics, other academic competitions... Philosophy is cool, too. Gaming is good in small doses.
Favorite singer/group (Genre): Funk makes me happy, but I wouldn't stick myself to one single favorite singer/group. Everything from Miles to McLachlan to Minogue to Grainger.
Biggest Pet Peeve: People who like to be asses when work needs to be done. Especially at jobs, eeeegh.
Favorite Show: Cowboy Bebop. The media references make me almost as happy as the stories do.
Favorite Color: Aqua Blue. Yes, I know water isn't really blue, but you know what color that is.
Career Goal: Secondary School Band Director (Teaching Math, too, maybe)
Anything else you would like to add: Liberal-Libertarian. Big Brother ticks me off, but it's kind of hard to get him out of the federal government right now. I find myself wondering why more people aren't more sided Libertarian when the USFG faces an INSANE amount of debt and we simply do not have the cash to continue in our big goverment programs. Then again, making sure that every citizen can get on her feet and make a living for herself is important too... It's a delicate line to balance. I'm one of those people who gets 97th percentile on standardized tests, but ends up not applying himself as well in school and only getting top quarter grades. My courses from here on in look like a ton of fun, which will definitely help me keep them up. Yeah, Music theory! *grins*

Anyway, I like most music, but especially Prog Rock and VG Music, and I don't like rap the much, honestly

No, honestly... I think it's better to have considered all factors of the current problem and make the decision one feels best about. Moral rules just lead to fundamentalism (and sloth).
