Vivisection is cruel and barbaric and by no means justified. They say that medical test are neccesearry but biologist can now grow specific human organs, so why can't medications, new treatment and such be performed on artificial organs rather than real people ... I would say test on humans but that was proved to be dangerous by test in London last year so ... artificially grown organs ar ethe way forward.

Vivisection is not even remotely acceptable - animal or human.

i believe if a product is so complex that it needs to be tested period, then we shouldn't be using it. i'm for all natural ingredients. this means cleaning my house with baking soda and vinegar, washing my hair with organic shampoo, and purchasing cosmetics that are cruelty-free.
homemade remedies, instead of modern medicine, should be the cures for minor mishaps and illness. [netti pots, toughing it out, etc.] animal testing for more serious illnesses and conditions is pointless because there is no way to tell if a human is going to react the same way as the tested animal.
make sure when you buy products that they do NOT say "this finished product has not been tested on animals" because it basically means that they DID test on animals, just not all the parts of the product put together. this means they could have tested the coloring for the lotion first, then tested the lotion itself second, and then melded the two substances together and said that the FINISHED product itself had not been tested. but other stages of the product have, indeed, been tested on animals. this means no more shopping at Bath & Body Works.
