"You think you know me..."
"Metalingus" by Alter Bridge hits the arena.
Smoke fills the entrance to the ramp. The main part of the song hits as Edge appears.
"From Toronto, Ontario, Canada, making his GZW debut, Edge!"
Edge walks down to the ring, with shades and a trench coat on. He slides into the ring. He stays on all fours then gets up and runs to the turnbuckle. He looks at the fans and points at himself while saying,
"I'm going to be one of the best in GZW!"
He gets down and waits.

Fallen Leaves by Billy Talent plays as Meteora rises up from beneath the stage. When he gets to the stage he puts his hands up with the Rock sign. As he does that, Red pyros explode from the stage. Meteora walks down the ramp with pride. he slides in the ring and climbs the TB. He does a backlip down and waits for the bell.

The bell rings as Edge goes for a lockup with Meteora.

The lockup connects as Edge knees him in the stomach.

With Edge and Meteora in a lockup, Meteora falls to his knees as Edge knees him in the stomach. Edge pushes Meteora back and he falls on the mat holding his belly. Edge stands there for a moment looking on and ready for Meteora.
For a minute and thirty seconds of Meteora laying on his back, coughing, and moaning in pain, Edge stares on in disbelief. He then walked over and placed his foot on Meteora's chest. The ref stood there for a few seconds briefly forgetting his role, dropped to the ground and made the three count. After the three count, Edge rolled out of the ring and snatched the mic from the announcer, during the announcement of his victory.
"No! Shut up! This is my opponent?! My debut match?! I don't think so! As far as I'm concerned this match never happened! Pathetic! Absulutely Pathetic!
I didn't join GzW for this! You can call me when you have a real opponent for me!"
With that said, Edge shoved the mic back at the announcer, driving it into the chest and making him say "ouch..". Edge rolled back into the ring and stomped on Meteora until he rolled out of the ring and dropped to the ground. He spat on Meteora, before turning and exiting the ring and going back up the ramp, exiting the stage.
