Saiyuki is one of the greatest anime's ever made in my opinion. The plot line isn't too original, but the characters are pretty original and the situations are well thought out. As my friend would say SanzoxGoku forever, but that's just our opinion.

Who else out their like Saiyuki?
Who's your favorite character, personally I think they're all cool but my fave is Hakkai! ^^

I'm a Hakkai fan myself. I own most of the first season but have yet to touch Reloaded. I am also not much of a fan of the manga but I'm probably going to collect the series one of these days.

Haha, it still does. I like the other characters as well. Sanzo and Goku are at their sweetest when they're together.

I like the manga, but I've watched some of the anime and hated it.
The drawings were too ugly for my liking.
The manga isn't that bad, but the first volumes' pictures
weren't all that nice.
I like the personalities and some of the jokes they made, though.
It isn't cheesy, which is why I like it a lot.

i've never actually gotten into saiyuki but my favorite character i've come across is goyjo

It seems we have opposit opinions, one person likes the anime over the manga and another likes the manga over the anime.

Son Goku and Cho Hakkai are my main fav
Goku is so cute when he ask for food but when he serious it hot. i love his demon form.

and Hakkai i wish i can see his demon form but i like the leaf on him tho.
i like how he acts clam and behaved but sometime is the opposite. i like it
