1. No godmodding. Everybody happens to have a weakness, darlings.
2. No cybering. Eww >.<; Do you think your mama would be proud of you...?
3. Do not fight with anyone in the thread. Especially me... I hate fighting ~ <3 Love everyone... like the hippie from That 70's Show...
4. Do not take other gaian's own characters. This... like most everything else in these rules, isn't tolerated.
5. No spamming. I will throw you in a pot and boil you over my stove. ^_^ Then feed you to my dog. Trust me... she'll eat you... the cute little lard butt.
6. Keep swearing to a minimum, so as not to insult other gaians. Does your mother kiss you with that mouth...?
7. I will say no more about your mother. She is probably a respectable individual...
8. All gaian rules apply. Follow them well, grasshopper.
9. I can add and alter rules as I please. Bwoho, thee wonders of being a thread owner... though... guild moderators, etc. are way above me and can change or add any rules as THEY please, as well... =D
10. ALL GUILD RULES APPLY!!! This happens to be one of the most important rules baby-pies, live it...
11. Please be literate as you can. Below are some examples... green light = good, red light = bad.

I will not accept, A.K.A. Red Light
*Howwie dances with wolves* Wuz up dawg?

I will accept, A.K.A. Green Light
Howwie danced in a beautiful motion with the wondrous wolves, while petals swayed around him and his pack. "What's up dog...?"

12. Have fun! I know it's kind of a weird rule to have after... all those other ones, but it's also really important too.

Why do you want to be said character?:
Example of your arpee skill as said character:

Good Example
Character Being Requested: Sissi Delmas
Why do you want to be said character?: She happens to be one of my more favored individuals in the show, and I enjoy her character. She's simply my favorite person to RP ever in the universe.
Example of your arpee skill as said character: In all honesties, she was never particularly one to be overly rude to an individual - that only came about under the circumstances that said individual was in any way unpleasant with her to begin with. And people thinking otherwise really wasn't a gorgeous situation... not whatsoever, in the slightest. Because Sissi didn't always want to be known as the Distasteful High-Maintenance Beauty Queen... just being a Beauty Queen was difficult all in itself, more added on was so ridiculous, screaming into a pillow sounded like the most appealing thing to do when she got to her room at night. Though, a long, steaming shower always seemed to overrule that urge.

Not-So-Good Example
Character Being Requested: Sissi Delmas
Why do you want to be said character?: Because...
Example of your arpee skill as said character: *Dances* I'm in the mood, we should go dancing... wanna go dancing...? Let's go dancing... *goes dancing*

... ;xD Note that the Not-So-Good example made me cringe slightly as I wrote it... ^_^;

A-M

User Image

Aelita Stones
Aelita is the younger female in the group and the more naive one of the four, having had comparatively less experience with the real world than her friends. At first thought to be an AI within Lyoko, Aelita's former life is slowly explored as the series progresses. She is the daughter of Franz Hopper, the person who designed both the supercomputer and Xana.

Emily LeDuc
Emily appeared to be a possible alternate love interest for Ulrich in the first season. Tall, dark haired, and generally quiet (but with a mean enough temper when riled), she seems to show interest in Ulrich but does not chase and stalk him the way Sissi does.

Franz Hopper
Franz Hopper was a science teacher at Kadic Junior High School about ten years before the series starts. He is the one responsible for creating the supercomputer that controls the virtual world of Lyoko, as well as Xana.

Hiroki Ishiyama
Hiroki is Yumi's younger brother, and appears to be around 9 or 10, though he could be much younger, as he still says "Mama" and "Papa" when talking to his parents and does not know what a jackpot is. He is usually seeing playing games on what resembles a Game Boy Advance SP. He often teases Yumi about her relationship with Ulrich, which makes her angry. In spite of that, he mentions that "That's the guy you should go out with", when Ulrich is protecting her from a materialized Krabe. In the third season, he seems to have enrolled at Kadic, which causes his sister great discomfort.

Herve Pichon
Herve is one of Sissi's "cronies." Herve has a personal vendetta against Jeremie because they are academic rivals. He also often seems to have feelings for Sissi.

Jean-Pierre Delmas
Jean-Pierre is the headmaster of Kadic. He is also Sissi's spoiling and over-affectionate (occasionally under-affectionate) father, which gives reason for the group (usually Ulrich) to suck-up to Sissi a little. He is not too strict, but can be if necessary - especially around his underachieving daughter, Elisabeth.

Jeremie Belpois
Jeremie is the brains of the group (as he is occasionally called "Einstein" and "brainiac"). He is 13 years old (after the episode "Franz Hopper"), in grade 9, 4.82' tall, and weighs 68.3 kilo grams.

Jim Morales
Jim is the P.E. teacher, campus supervisor and handyman/technician of Kadic Junior High School; he was hired at the school two decades before the show's timeline, according to a statement made by Jim himself in "Holiday in the Fog". He is also the dormitory supervisor. His distinguishing characteristics include a seemingly-perpetual five o'clock shadow and stubble, tucked-in knee socks, a red and black jacket, a headband, black sweatpants with red bordering, brown tennis shoes, and a Band-Aid affixed to his face below his left eye. The Band-Aid switches sides, occasionally.

Johnny
Johnny is Hiroki's new friend upon entering Kadic. He was introduced in "Straight to Heart" where he expressed a romantic interest in Yumi to Hiroki, who then said that he was crazy for having a crush on his sister. Johnny was a prominent character in "The Pretender," shadowing Yumi upon cruel advice from a jealous Ulrich. He annoys Yumi considerably by tracking her everywhere around the school. After she is attacked by Xana-possessed crows, he accompanies her in the ambulance and to the hospital's ER. His relationship with Yumi appears to ameliorate at the end of the episode when he apologizes for Ulrich and Yumi has Johnny study with her.

Milly Solovieff
Milly is one of the two official journalists at Kadic, the other being Tamiya. The two share a dorm room. Milly can be considered the reporter since she is always the one on camera; however, she once carried sound equipment. The two produced a paper together called the Kadic Herald, and film news-worthy events. How their filming is distributed is not shown. Milly is very interested in journalism and will take any opportunity to find something to report about. She has a big crush on Ulrich and is very sensitive about it.

Mr. Ishiyama
Mr. Ishiyama's first name is Takeo. His wife and him have a somewhat unstable relationship, as seen in several episodes. Mr. Ishiyama works for a worldwide corporation.

Mrs. Ishiyama
Mrs. Ishiyama's first name is never mentioned in the series. She is currently working on a dictionary and has an unbalanced relationship with her husband, as seen in a number of episodes.

Mr. Stern
Ulrich's father... he happens to be quite snooty... not to mention he expects Ulrich to be the best at everything. Wears a beige business suit...

Mrs. Stern
Ulrich's mother, who, as opposed to her husband - shows more care for Ulrich's well-being. She wears a more casual, trendy outfit.

N-Y

User Image

Nicolas Poliakoff
Not what one would consider intelligent, Nicolas simply follows Sissi wherever she goes. Despite his stupidity and idiotic behavior, he has a very good knack for drumming. Not one to really do anything when the group insults or blows Sissi off, Nicolas generally stays quiet. Despite his (external) lack of intelligence, he did write the script for the school's adaptation of "Romeo and Juliet." His last name, Poliakoff, suggests he is of Russian descent.

Nicole Weber
Nicole is the principal's secretary. The group has been forced to distract her on occasion while trying to do one thing or another that wouldn't be considered legal.

Odd Della Robbia
Odd Della Robbia is the jokester and prankster of the group, acting less serious and more carefree than the others in any given situation. While Odd is fond of his own jokes, few others are. This attitude extends to most forms of danger, which Odd only seems to take seriously when responsible for the welfare of others. While Odd doesn't appear to be a serious student, he maintains a 75% average, apparently aided by high art scores as well as his propensity to copy the papers of others during those tests he actually attempts to pass. During his free time, he prefers to work on music, film, drawing, and other forms of art, as well as skateboarding.

Rosa Petitjean
Rosa Petitjean is one of the cafeteria workers at Kadic. There's not much to say about her since she doesn't get much screen time, but she's very nice to the kids that she caters for. The episode "Attack of the Zombies" shows that she doesn't react too well to the strange and unexplained, seeing as how she fainted three times at the sight of the zombified school population.

Samantha Knight
Samantha is just one of the many girls that Odd has dated over the course of the show. She is slightly different from the rest in that she does not attend school at Kadic. From what little we see of her in both episodic appearances, it can be assumed that her family is not well off financially, maybe in poverty.

Sissi Delmas
Elisabeth is the only daughter of Jean-Pierre Delmas, who is the principal of Kadic Junior High School. She is 13 years old, in grade 9, 5.33' tall, and weighs 110.2 pounds. She prefers to go by nickname Sissi, as she doesn't like her real name. The gorgeous young girl has won several beauty contests, and it just so happens she harbors unrequited love for Ulrich.

Suzanne Hertz
Suzanne Hertz is the science teacher and the homeroom teacher of Jeremie and his friends. She is probably the strictest teacher at Kadic, as evidenced in various episodes. On more than one occasion, she has made a student look foolish for one thing or another, usually for giving stupid or ill-timed answers to questions. Despite the "Mrs." in her name, she may be widowed, separated, or divorced; no mention of any husband is made in the series and she is occasionally referred to by her students as "Ms. Hertz." Jim has a crush on her.

Tamiya Diop
Tamiya does the camera work for the school newspaper as well as the film-based media. She's not quite as outspoken as Milly so not much is known about her. She seems just as excited about news as Milly is. Tamiya shares a dorm room with Milly.

Ulrich Stern
Ulrich doesn't say much about his personal life and is evasive when someone asks him about himself or his family. He seems to have trouble opening up to people and hides his feelings in order to use them all the more explosively in action. Whenever someone is in danger, his feelings appear very quickly.

William Dunbar
Throughout the second season, William's attention is mainly focused on Yumi, as he attracted to her just as much as Ulrich is and isn't afraid to show it. However, he also realizes that mutual attraction Ulrich and Yumi hold for each other, and attempts to convince Ulrich to act on it at one point, the motivation being that he'll do so if Ulrich does not. This continues into the third season, at which point Yumi is simply tired of his advances.

Yolande Perraudin
Yolande Perraudin is the school nurse. She is often bewildered by the "afflictions" caused by Xana, which befall those at Kadic. It is discovered that she is engaged to be married in the episode "Xana's Kiss." In the first season, she was addressed by the name Dorothy. She is addressed by her French name from the second season onward.

Yumi Ishiyama
Yumi is the oldest member of the group, being a year older than the others. She is of Japanese descent, having moved to her current home from Tokyo. Although sometimes a bit short-tempered, Yumi is very clever. Yumi varies between reasonable and stubborn at various points; though willing to reveal the supercomputer to the police in order to prevent a nuclear explosion, it takes the destruction of most of Lyoko to convince her to let William Dunbar join the group.

Bloks
Bloks are basically cubes on legs. They have six legs compared to the usual four seen on other monsters, allowing them to balance on surfaces that other monsters would plummet from, like peaks in the Mountain sector. Bloks have four Eyes, one on each of their four vertical sides, and can see through all four. All four also serve as weak points for the Bloks. They rotate their head on an axis connecting the head to their legs.

Creepers
Somewhat resembling a snake, Creepers have a humanoid, semi-organic upper body and a mechanical tail. They pull themselves on their two legs, which are fairly long with a single joint in the middle. They have a rather large, flap-like mouth which contains their only weapon. Their Eye is on the upper flap of the mouth. Creepers have the unique ability to move along the walls and ceilings of Carthage as if they were moving on level ground. Creepers are the only monster limited to Carthage. Creepers have a lower than average twenty life points, so hitting the Eye is usually unnecessary. In fact, hits on most parts of their body will destroy them. Odd's arrows, however, normally lack the ability to do this.

Guardians
Guardians are large, orange spheres that Xana can use to trap anyone it wants, provided they are in Lyoko. The victim is rendered unconscious and cannot be located or spoken to on Lyoko. During this time, life points seem to be deducted from the victim, or the damage is caused during their capture. In either case, the Guardian doesn't (or can't) devirtualize its victim. The Guardian can be tricked into releasing its captive if an exact duplicate appears before it. This destroys the Guardian, scattering its energy about the landscape in the form of orange threads. Force is useless against these enemies, though Odd and Ulrich have tried on two separate occasions. They cannot be killed, for they have no Eye. They have not been seen since the first season, and even in that they have only been seen twice; once in "Image Problem" and again in "The Girl of the Dreams", with Yumi and Aelita as captives, respectively.

Hornets
Resembling a mosquito without legs, Hornets are one of the two flight-capable monsters, the other being the Mantas. The Scyphozoa can hover, but it does not fly in the traditional sense. Hornets have ten thin wings, five on each side of their bodies. They can flap these wings at incredibly fast speeds, allowing them to move at speeds matching those of the vehicles. This also makes them highly maneuverable. Their weakness is the Eye on their forehead. The leader of a group has fifty life points, while its wingmates have twenty each. Supposedly, destroying the leader should destroy its wingmates, but this has yet to happen.

Kankrelats
Kankrelats are the smallest and weakest of Xana's monsters. They are not very fast, but they are excellent dodgers thanks to their small size. They can also leap a considerable distance through enough speed and cling to objects with their pointed feet. The weak point of a Kankrelat is the Eye on its carapace. They are the least intelligent of Xana's monsters.

Krabes
Resembling an overgrown crab without the pincers, Krabes are one of the strongest monsters in Lyoko. Krabes have four large, un-jointed, scythe-like legs, allowing them to easily climb any surface, though they rarely do so. In the episode "Plagued", three Krabes were able to walk effectively on a surface tilted at a 90° angle. It appears to bear a higher level of independence than most of Xana's monsters, and may also have the best aim. The Krabe's Eye is on its back, making it difficult to hit. However, the Eye is massive compared to other monsters, and thus easy to hit from above.

Mantas
Vaguely resembling manta rays, Mantas take up residence in Carthage. They are capable of flight, but look as if they're swimming when doing so. Like the Krabes, their Eye is located on their backs, and is rather large when compared to other monsters. Despite this, they are highly enduring, considering that one survived an attack by Ulrich that nearly severed it in two. Mantas seem to be Xana's last line of defense against intruders, since most of the time they materialize only when Aelita has reached the interface in Carthage. They make very few appearances outside of the sector.

Megatanks
Resembling a massive sphere, Megatanks are one of the most rarely seen and arguably the most dangerous of Xana's monsters. In fact, they have made the least appearances (though they appear more frequently in the third season) of any normal monster and do more damage than any other monster. The weak points of the Megatank are its two Eyes, which are located opposite each other on a support ring inside its casing. The casing is able to resist any attack, even one from another Megatank (although it doesn't cancel out the force of the attack). It only opens this casing when preparing to fire, making it all the more dangerous to attack. Fake Eyes usually appear around its equatorial axis before it opens, as a sort of warning. Sometimes, it runs with these deployed.

Scyphozoa
Resembling a giant jellyfish (Scyphozoa is in fact the scientific name for jellyfish, from the Greek words for "cup" and "animal") with long tentacles protruding from its sides, the Scyphozoa is much larger than the rest of Xana's monsters. Its eye is located on a green diamond just in front of its head. The head is bulb-shaped, and sits on its cone-shaped body. Unlike the other monsters, who move through some form of physical transportation (legs or wings), the Scyphozoa is able to float as if it were swimming through water. This enables it to easily reach otherwise unaccessible areas on Lyoko, and also makes it highly maneuverable in close quarters. There seems to be only one Scyphozoa, since no more than one is seen at any given time.

Tarantulas
Resembling a giant spider with four jointed legs and six small, red eyes located near the tip of their head, Tarantulas are one of Xana's most powerful monsters. With a higher-than-average 125 life points, higher than average intelligence (surpassing the Krabes), and the vulnerable Eye on the top of their head, Tarantulas are quite difficult to destroy and a single one can easily wipe out the team by itself. In "New Order", it managed to devirtualize Ulrich, Yumi, and Odd in quick succession due to their unfamiliarity with it. Tarantulas were the first new monster introduced the second season.

-- Code Lyoko --

User Image

Xana, obsessed with world domination, has taken over the supercomputer in charge of Lyoko, which he also dominates. Xana attacks the real world by activating towers (usually one at a time), which act as links to the real world. If the group is able to get Aelita to the activated tower(s) out of the more than forty scattered about Lyoko's four main regions, she can deactivate the tower(s) and neutralize Xana's attack on the real world; then they can use the supercomputer to return to the past, leaving no one except themselves to remember any of the events that transpired. To complicate the situation, they must do this while ensuring their classmates and teachers are not killed (as going back in time cannot bring back the dead), and deal with the many clashes of personality at the same time.

First Season
The first season of the show has very little plot development. The only major plot developments are made in the two-part finale. The rest of the episodes are mostly filler. Until the finale, each episode consists of the group discovering an attack, stopping the attack, and reseting time to cover it up. Other sub-plots are included, such as their relationships with one another and other students and teachers at the school. Usually the interaction with their classmates and teachers early in each episode contributes to Xana's attack. Throughout these events, Jeremie works on a program to materialize Aelita in order to shut down the supercomputer safely. He eventually develops the program in the two-part finale, but Xana takes measures to keep Aelita linked to the supercomputer, preventing the group from shutting it down without killing her in the process.

Second Season
The second season, in contrast to the first, is much more plot-focused, though a decent portion of the episodes are still filler. The animation is more realistic and detailed, and Jim and Sissi's personalities have changed significantly, though some traces of their old personalities exist in some form. Aelita lives on Earth in the second season. In the first episode of the second season, she enrolls at Kadic under the name of Aelita Stones. She poses as a cousin of Odd, using a forged birth certificate created by Jeremie. Jeremie's new super scan program also means that Aelita doesn't need to stay on Lyoko to check for Xana's activity. Aelita also begins having visions of a life she supposedly never lived, and a man named Franz Hopper is shown to have connections to Lyoko. Also adding to the group's troubles is a new student named William Dunbar, who has begun to take an interest in Yumi.

Each member of the group now has vehicles to quickly transport them in Lyoko: Odd gets a hover skateboard called an "Overboard," Ulrich gets a one-wheeled motorcycle called an "Overbike," and Yumi gets a hover scooter called an "Overwing." Aelita can ride any vehicle by herself if necessary, but usually rides with another person. A fifth sector, Carthage, is discovered in Lyoko and turns out to be Xana's home sector, from which all of his data can be accessed, so the group go on several journeys into this sector to do so. At the same time, Xana begins sending the Scyphozoa after Aelita to steal her memories, and has created three other new monsters, as well. The operations of the supercomputer are also somewhat demystified. Return trips are fewer (though still common) now, because it makes Xana stronger. Eventually, Xana's true purpose is revealed, as are the origins of the supercomputer, Lyoko, and Aelita herself.

Third Season
In the third season, Xana has been strangely quiet in both the real world and Lyoko, having done nothing during the group's summer vacation. It still needs a computer to exist, but is no longer limited to a specific one, instead being free to roam the internet at will. Jeremie has developed a new scanning program capable of tracking Xana, which reveals that Xana appears to be residing in the United States, but lacks the means to strike against Xana. Jeremie's current goal at the moment is to find a way to transfer the group into the internet.

Because Aelita had her memories returned by Franz Hopper, she can be devirtualized normally. She even has a new power to defend herself with in Lyoko — energy blasts. Also, Yumi has decided against having a relationship with Ulrich, preferring to remain just friends.

In Carthage, the group finds Lyoko's core, which Xana wants destroyed. Being free of the supercomputer, Xana's attacks are far more powerful. Tower activation is still required to initiate them, but Xana can perform attacks on levels far beyond what he could when imprisoned. Xana can possess mass numbers of people at once, making it that much more difficult for the group to make their way from the school to the factory. In the hopes of isolating the group from Carthage, since destroying Lyoko directly would prove difficult, Xana has turned his sights to Lyoko's sectors, hoping to remove their ability to access Carthage by deleting the sectors they use to get there. By using the Scyphozoa to possess Aelita, Xana can use her to enter the code "Xana" in a passage tower. This gives Xana full access to the sector, after which he can delete it. Despite their best efforts, Xana eventually succeeds in deleting all four sectors. Luckily, Jeremie finds a way to access Carthage directly.

Seeing that their numbers aren't enough against Xana's increasing power, the group decides to add William Dunbar to the team to balance things out. This proves to be a disastrous mistake, however, as during William's first trip to Lyoko, Xana uses the Scyphozoa to possess him. Using William, Xana is easily able to overpower the other Lyoko warriors and destroy Lyoko's core. The act renders the supercomputer useless. Within the empty supercomputer, William transforms into a dark version of himself, now possessed by Xana to an even greater degree. Afterwards, Jeremie gets a coded message from the internet from none other than Franz Hopper, who somehow survived the destruction of Lyoko.

Fourth Season
In the fourth season, Lyoko is recreated, allowing the group to continue tracking Xana. Traveling into the digital sea, the group finds a number of "Replikas", which are smaller recreations of Lyoko. Each of these Replikas is controlled by another supercomputer, which is in turn controlled by Xana. To stop Xana once and for all, Jeremie devises a way to materialize his friends at the site of these supercomputers with their Lyoko abilities intact, giving them the necessary firepower to dismantle them. The group has new outfits and weapons to accompany the new season.
