Do you guys have any books that you would recommend?
Here are two that I recommend:
The Metabolism Advantage: An 8-Week Program to Rev Up Your Body's Fat-Burning Machine---At Any Age by John Berardi It gives you tips on how to boost your metabolism. It has sections about what foods you should eat and what proteins and nutrients you should be getting. There are sample weekly menus according to how much you work out and when. There's a whole thought about when you should be eating and drinking a certain amount of calories in relation to when you exercise.
Body for Life for Women: A Woman's Plan for Physical and Mental Transformation by Pamela Peeke This one is geared specifically for women, but I'm sure it has some useful tips for everyone, too. It's got tips for staying motivated and lots of encouraging stories. It also takes female hormones into account and how they affect your body in conjunction with the number of calories you eat and burn. It has sections on portion control and nutrition.

This one is more on self esteem, but it's a good one to help you become more approachable, how to flirt without looking like your only after sex, how to get people to want to be around you, etiquette at social events etc. It's a really good read if you find that no matter how much you change, everyone still treats you the same. It causes you to realise how even the smallest thing such as crossing your arms can make people think that you are stuck up.
It's called "How to be an irresistable woman: how to charm and attract everyone you meet" by Lisa Helmenis.
I thought it was about attracting the opposite sex into a long lasting relationship. But it's about getting everyone to see how beautiful, smart and nice you are, as well as getting you to see it in yourself.
