Audrey plops herself down at the end of the Gryffindor table with a plate of toast in one hand and a glass of orange juice in the other. She lifts up her messenger bag and takes out her current read, I'm with the band by Pamela Des Barrs, a book that her brother, Jeremy gave to her for her 13th birthday. As she nibbled on her toast, Nearly Headless Nick drifted past, saying good morning to everyone. Audrey quietly said good morning and looked back into her book

Keaton sat across from Audrey, looking puzzled.
"I've never seen you before...but you don't look new," He said, "I'm Keaton Dash."
Keaton offered his hand for a shake...

"I'm a transfer student from the Salem Witches Institute in the States {chapter 7 book 4, page 82 in the U.S. paperback edition, I figured it was a school} but I'm originaly from Danvers Massachusetts, which is a very lovely town, with a lot of strange people" she said as she chuckled lightly

"From the States?..." Keaton pondered. "That's a mighty far distance to travel for education."
Keaton pulled his wand and a miniature book out of his pocket.
"Engorgio," Keaton whispered, tapping the book with his wand. It became normal size and he started flipping through it...

Keaton looked again puzzled but shook it off.
"Somewhat, but It's always fun to be on the other end...Hex and Jinx wise of course, nothing like...EVILLLL."
He waved his hands around as he said this, and stopped abruptly as people started to stare...
Keaton put down his book, loading up his plate with anythign and everything within reach.

A half-awake figure stumped over to the Griffindor table. With a less than co-ordinated slump, he found himself in a seat. 'Why are morning's so early?' A Mr. Janor Henning groaned, pressing a ahnd against his eyes. He let it fall, eyeing the jugs in his hunt for coffee. He heard comments on Defense Against the Dark Arts. 'The Evil stuffs the best part. You can't tell me it doesn't fascinate you to read about that.' He laughed a bit, face brightening up when he found teh coffee. 'You'd never catch me dead doing any of that, but it makes a good read.' He seemed to perk up almost as soon as the coffee touched his lips.

Janor gave a small snort into his mug and laughed. 'Kill me? If it hasn't killed me by now, I think I'm good. Janor equals no function without coffee.' He settled back in his chair and slipped a hand through his hair. 'The only thing funner than practicing in class, is to practice on Slytherins.' He nodded and returned to his coffee. If anyone didn't know better, they'd think his blood was made fo the stuff.
