but i've heard that on some run throughs that you can defeat the 256 hard battles and the guy still won't talk to you (well other than the standard words)

Been a while since I've played this game, I remember on gamefaqs there was a glitch about getting the Berserker title. I am not sure, you should make an account on gamefaqs and create a topic about this question. Sorry I can't help you sweatdrop I was able to get mine very easily.

yeah i was just seeing if any of you guys knew. there are only 1 or 2 people that are actually helpful other than *posts link and yells at newb*

You have to get the encounters on HARD mode. 256 enemy encounters on Hard mode. I'm still working on that... <_< >_>
Good luck; I want it too. Heh, I have my eyes on some of the others too... I'm only missing two of Guy's titles...
