Here's where you post any suggestions you might have on how to improve the Guild.

I suggest... Three days after a contest is over, rename the title: Over (Poetry/Prose) Or just switch the poetry/prose at the end of the title with the word Over.
This would make it easier to see which contests are over, and to not enter them.

I was personally thinking that once a contest has been closed for one month it should be deleted to avoid cluttering.

Maybe not deleted... If someone wants to go back and review the entrants or entries. Or the contest holder needs to get the page layout for their next contest.

how about you make a special subforum for past contest and put every contest that is closed in it. That way you can free up space and not delete them

And maybe you can't be eligable for a contest unless you have introduced yourself in the Roll Call thread. That way, people can't just come in, enter a few contests, and never be heard of again. Or you just have to have Five previous posts in the guild. Because, looking at the member pages, alot of people have about two posts, and they entered contests.

I'd like people to let me know when their contests are closed so I can move them.

I can get a list of all the members and how many posts they have, it comes with the Guild. I think anyone can check it, it's "member list", next to "guild forum". That way we know how much someone's posted.

I'll leave that to the descretion f the contest hosts.
On another topic, how do we feel about a Hall of Fame? As a place where people can list the contests they've won, compare scores, etc. Just a thread, not a sub-forum, but do you like the idea? Let me know what you think.

Annetia, dearest, The home page mentions donations should be sent to you so that you can hand them out to contest holders. Are these donations happening? And, if so, Is there away to apply for extra funds? cause I have several ideas for contests, but questing and giving out prize money doesn't work to well.
Also, we seem to have a lack of active new members. I was thinking about holding some kind of big Guild event in the main Gaian Writing Contest forum to attract members. I'm not sure what yet, maybe everyone pitches in to make a large prize pool and we come up with a killer contest? Then we can ask everyone to go and post in that thread so it stays up near the top. Everyone could advertise their own contests and it can be one big promotion campaign for the guild. What do you guys think?
