An obscure thrash metal band from the late eighties. Formed in 1984 under the name "Tokyo", later renamed to "Toxik". They released two albums (World Circus in 1988 and Think This in 1989.) The band delivered quality thrash, mixed with some progressive influences and highlighted by excellent guitarwork of Josh Christian and energetic drumming by Tad Leger. Toxik broke up in 1992 and except some unchecked rumours of new material, they have been quiet ever since.
Both of their albums are great. Not really sure which I prefer though. They have recently re-united so, hopefully they'll be releasing new stuff soon.

I love Toxik. I prefer Think This, myself. The title track is just so kickass.
Then again, it doesn't have There Stood The Fence or Door To Hell on it, either.

I just downloaded both albums recently and so far I think it's World Circus for me

Our Pale Companion I just downloaded both albums recently and so far I think it's World Circus for me does have some catchy stuff on it though; like the title track.

Then again, it doesn't have There Stood The Fence or Door To Hell on it, either. Agreed. I find myself listening to Think This more often than World Circus. Actually There Stood the Fence is track 4 on Think This.
