what happens if you amputate a arm or leg that was bitten fast enough? and how fast does the diseaese spread?

On a still calm subject It takes 4 real time days
on a normal person 2 real time days
on a panicing/Highly active subject 1 real time day
there is a docter in the forest who can stop infection at the cost of a three day RPC inactivity
But even if you do become a zombie its not over you can Join the undead side and fight with them or You can become a Non-Dead: a undead that fights for the living; like the teacher at the old hotel. He can also sell you special Non-Dead Items like skull guards and Enbalming Fluid.

Just put "Non-Dead Vampire" on thier RPC sheet and put half-vampire
as well as thier weaknesses and strength "decay, Necromandus, natural claws, blood drain, sunlight, Rigor Mortis, ect."

necromandus; Literally "dead skin" You can't feel anything including pain
Rigor Mortis; literally "stiff death" You can cause your body to become rigid increasing defence, but you lack movement
