Hello, there!
This is a story of mine, a prologue to it. I want opinions, please!
*DO NOT TRY TO STEAL IT, IT HAS ALREADY BEEN POSTED AT SCRIBBLER'S ABODE!*
Artemis smiled sleepily as her mother hugged her. "We'll be back soon, dear. Sally will have fun with you. Now, Sally, she has school tomorrow, so don't let Artemis stay up too late. No sugar with her bedtime snack, we'll be back by nine."
”Okay, Mommy. I love you." Artemis waved as her parents walked out the door. She tucked a strand of her black hair behind her ear, and returned to the living room. Her black ponytail sat high on her head, as she sat on the floor next to her babysitter. "Let's play a game!"
Later that night, as Artemis was crawling into bed, she heard a terrible scream, an unearthly scream that filled her small body with unease, worry, and terror. It made her feel weak kneed, and she let her small form slid onto the floor in fear.
She stumbled clumsily into the hall, still shaken by the sound.
"Sally?" she said, peeking around her door frame, looking at her babysitter. The young teenager was sitting on the couch reading.
"What's wrong, kiddo?" Sally asked, laying her book down.
"Uh...nothing much.. Is Mommy and Daddy home yet?" Artemis was almost afraid of the answer. What if that scream was from her parents?
"No."
Artemis looked down at the graves, crying silently.
Her parents had died that night, in an old, smelly alley full of garbage, rats, and misery. The forensic examiner said that both died after all the blood being drained form their bodies. They had been found the next morning, lying on top on another. And although some had soaked into the pavement beneath them, eighty percent of their blood was gone. They did not seem injured, until two small puncture marks were found in her father's upper arm, and her mother's neck.
Like a vampire attacked them.
Artemis fell onto the freshly dug earth. "I promise you," she choked, sitting up, "To end the life of who did this...Or let me die too."

It was a dark, cold night inside the school. Art looked around carefully in the dark, before running down the hall into the library. Her now light blue hair trailed after her, while her suspicious eyes scanned the area in front of her.
She didn't notice the pair of bright, almost glowing sun-orange eyes following her.
Once in the library, she slid into an uncomfortable chair sitting in front of an ancient computer.
She turned it on, and waited for it as it loaded at snail's pace. She could hear the Janitor, whistling as he grew closer to the library, although he was fifteen minutes away. Art smiled as the computer finally loaded. Her long fingers began typing, and she hacked into the principle's account. Once she had found the grades for all students, she altered the grades of everyone she hated...and there were quite a few. until all were easily failing. The blonde preps nor the jocks took too much alteration. She slipped a disk into the computer, which contained a virus. She had created it at home, spending a good few days to perfect it.
Gotta love home made viruses, she thought to herself, as she uploaded the virus to the system. If the time had been right, she would have giggled like an idiot. It would wreak havoc the next day.
She stood up, listening for the janitor's whistle and footsteps. She had two minutes tops before the janitor arrived. Grabbing some of the oldest books in the library, she stuffed them in her bag. She jumped out a window, and ran to the bus stop. When the bus had pulled up, she got in.
The bedazzling eyes stared for one moment after the bus pulled away, and vanished.
