What does "1337" mean?
Same with "L33t"
What does "FTW" mean?
Is "lawls" correct grammar? Me, like some people consider it as an onomatopoeia.
Onomatopoeia is a word that means a sound. Like "Boom," or "Clank."

I think "FTW" used to mean "For The Win" but I think that it's "F*ck The World" now...

"1337" and "L33T" both translate into the word "leet".
According to Wikipedia leet "is a degenerative form of the word "elite", and the language it describes resembles a highly specialized form of electronic shorthand. Initially, the word leet was used as an adjective, to primarily describe the behavior or accomplishments of others in the community."
This is a very accurate description of the meaning actually. One of the best i've found on the internet so far.

I used to use 'leet'...
...until I partially got banned for using it from a message board that I was registered to for 2 years.
