Seiaeka stood leaning against her work bench in her new lab at her home just outside of Orthran. She recently returned to the hom to find it in shambles still, Riker having done nothing ot the place since she left him there. After a few weeks of renovations she was now spending days in the laboratory mulling over the Soul Case with Athena's soul locked tightly away within.
She had called Dukel over earlier, and he should be arriving soon. She had spent many weeks mulling it over, why she couldn't get the soul of Athen to become an Ancient. During an idle conversation with Arathiel, who had taken well to his former brother, Ghilsheare, it had struk her. He mentioned the bottle of pure enegery she had knocked into the magic circle she had been instructed by her book to use for creating the new bodies and sealing the soul to keep it from escaping. Did they require an item? This is what she wanted to try, and thus had instructed Dukel to bring an item that he may want to fuse with his newly aquired soul.

Dukel walked through the city of Orthran not paying attention to the people that walked by talking on to each other or gossiping. Blocking out all sound he walked down the street side dodging through shortcuts whenever he could soon arriving to the path near Seiaeka's home. Walking down it he heaved a sigh. It was another boring day but why had she called him here. The directions were barley legible and the letter she sent got soaked in the rain. Approaching the door he raised his hand to knock on it and hesitated. Wondering to himself he gave up the thought of what the letter might have said and braved for the worst. Knocking hard two times on the door he waited.

The door was opened for him, not by Seiaeka, but by a tall Demon. He stared at Dukel a moment with our a word, he looked somewhat sleepy as it was still early in the morning. "It's about time," he mumbled, scratching his lower back and walking away to the interior of the house, "Close the Door when you come in," he added. Walking into a nearby room, he flopped onto a couch, "She's in the Lab if you need her, I hope you brought what you were supposed to," he mumbled from the cushions.

"Thanks." said Dukel closing the door and walking to what seemed to be the lab. 'What was I supposed to bring?' he thought and smirked looking to Seiaeka. "I am here thanks to your soggy letter." It has been hard enough decoding the directions he didn't even try the letter.

She was deep in thought, reading her giant tome, though still fully aware of his arrival, "I told you to bring an item to fuse with your Ancient. It's highly important. If you don't, your soul may escape, and I really have a feeling that you don't want to wait another few hundred years for it to be reborn," she said, not looking up from her book. Instead, she surned to the magic circle which seemed to shudder from strain as the put another protection around it.

"Well I don't have anything with me because I couldn't decipher the letter." said Dukel leaning against the doorway thinking about the item he would've brought if he could have read the letter. Probably the old Bible he carried, wait. Reaching into his bag he pulled out a tattered looking book. Barley anything inside or on the cover was readable and he laid it down on the table infront of Seiaeka Thats all I have."

She quirked one pure white eyebrow at him and took the book without a word. Immediately she turned to work on the object, placing spells on it as she swept around her lab hurridly, peparing things. Returning to her work bench she placed the item into the magic circle and turned to him, "Now we wait," she said, walking briskly from the lab.

"Okay," said Dukel "So hows that new Ancient coming along, what was his name... Ghilsheare?" Following her out he smiled taking a quick glimps at the book.

Before she could open her mouth to say anything, at there very moment, there was a roar from upstairs and giggling accompanied by the sound of running feet. She just smiled and shook her head at the nonsense and continued up the stairs without a word.
Up in the living room, she settled herself down on one of the couches as Dukel was tackled from behind as a small boy ended up on his shoulders calling his name cheerily and gripping onto his horns.

"W..Why hello," said Dukel smiling he ruffeled the boys hair. He guessed it was the little ancient. He had never before been pounced on. Turning he tried to see the boy but he was perfectly positioned. Tripping he went to fall backward but spun himself where he his the ground chest first. "Ow..." he moaned while laughing.

Arathiel stepped into the room dragging Riker by his horns and extracted Ghilsheare from Dukel's shoulder. The child giggled and latched onto the older Ancient as he released Riker who was now on the floor facing Dukel.
Seiaeka laughed musically at the while scene, "Dukel, meet Riker, essentially my pet Demon, by his own choice of course," she said to introduce the demon on the floor who now sat up, brushing himself off.

"Nice to meet you," Dukel said messing up his hair that had been patted down. Looking over to Seiaeka he leaned up against the wall "So whats the agenda for today?"

She shrugged, not really sure. "I suppose we wait until we hear your child grow," she said as Arathiel got up and disappeared into the kitchen with Ghilsheare.
Arathiel had put Ghilsheare down while preparing tea and snack for the guest. Getting bored easily, the child wandered into the basement and Seiaeka's lab and stood staring at the new Soul Case and item that had been placed in the magic circle.

There was a sudden crack and popping noise from downstairs as Refia appeared right beside Ghilsheare. Still seeing him looking at the empty spot on the table she looked too and smiled "Sir, whats supposed to be there?"
Dukel heard the pop than turned and looked at Seiaeka. "Isn't that the sound Ghilsheare made before he appeared?"

"Wuaahhh!" Ghilsheare let out a terrified scream of shock as he ran out of the room and up the stairs, hiding behind Arathiel who had stopped at the top of the stairs with a tray full of tea and snack. He stood there looking down the stairs in the direction of the Lab.
She was about to speak with Ghilsheare came running up the stairs screaming bloody murder. She clamped her mouth shut and stood up, heading for the basement, "I suppose that's our answer," she said, patting the boy's hair as she headed down the stairs.
