Bio: Lydia grew up in a well-to-do suburban neighborhood, but she always wanted a little something more. She moved out of her parents' home the moment she turned eighteen, and instead of heading off to college like her friends she dedicated her days to a full-time job at a local bakery and her nights to the hustle and bustle of the city nightlife she was always denied by her well-meaning but overbearing parents. In fact, she received her bite in the back of a renovated disco from a man she just thought was a little drunk and a little too friendly. Forced to quit her job, she now moves from city to city, always on the prowl for a warm bed and a hot club.
Personality: Lydia doesn't fit the typical vampire mold. Still more used to being a human than anything else, her main priority is to have fun – not to kill – and she utilizes all of her waking hours hanging around local clubs and restaurants. Unfortunately, the people she gets closest to on these excursions often wind up her prey for the night.
Likes: Lots of light (artificial, of course), lots of music, and lots of dancing
Dislikes: Stoic vampires and the goth scene; Lydia just wants to have fun, and being a corpse is not high on her list
Appearance: Lydia's corn-silk hair, pale gray eyes and fair skin might lead some to believe that she's just got her parents' northern-European coloring... rather than being a blood-sucking vampire, that is. For those who know better – and have had a look at her driver's license – it's obvious that she is a legitimate, if recent, inductee of the undead party, having lost her mortality at about eighteen or nineteen. In efforts to break away from the vampire cliche, she tends to keep up with current fashion trends (though they usually look awkward thrown over her lanky figure) and – at least at night – blends in with other girls her age.
