"Hey! Hey, girls! Girls, wait up!" Katherine was running to catch up with her new friends. Friends, she couldn't believe she truly had friends. In high school she never had any friends. She was called dork, nerd, and various other things, but she can't, she won't think about that right now. Not only did she have friends in college they were the most popular girls in school!
She had just started college at Xaviers University of Louisiana, right in New Orleans. It lived up to it's name, it truly is the "Big Easy."
"Ashlei, it's getting dark. Don't you think we should get back to the dorm?" Brittany asks quietly. It was obvious that she was getting scared but who could blame her after the incident that has been on the news. "I don't know, ask Kat." Ask Kat? Wow, not only is she a part of the group, they are seeking her advice. She can't look like a wimp.
"We can stay out a little later, can't we?" Besides the murder happened a mile from here so their safe, right?
