"Kiyoko? Kakeru?" Lei was really confused.
"Konnichiwa, little sister," Kiyoko piped up.
Kiyoko (the sister) was 30, and Kakeru (the brother) was 33. They both had their own family and they flew in from Chicago, to see Lei.
"Cameron called and told us that you 2 were married and you were pregnant," Kakeru explained.
"Oh, well you guys probably think that-" Lei started.
"He got you pregnant?" Kiyoko finished. "Oh, we can tell he did."
"But that's just it; he didn't," Lei explained. "I was raped."
The room went dead silent.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Kakeru asked.
"I tried but someone kept saying the line was disconnected."
"I had my phone number changed," Kiyoko said, "but I thought I gave it to you."
"Well, my number's been the same," Kakeru said.
"Oh," Lei replied. "Well, I guessed I must have dialed the worng numbers when I tried to call you guys."
"So, um, how many are you having?" Kiyoko asked, trying to change the subject.
"2; a boy and a girl," Lei said cheerfully. "We are thinking about naming them Alecia Oriheme Xu and Santiago Mateo Xu."
"Interesting," Kakeru said. "Jane and Eddie were wondering when they were going to get to see their cousins."
"Same with Ashley and Ray," Kiyoko agreed.
As you can see, they all have/ are having boys and girls. The Chungs were a sacred family. Their ancestors are warriors, and oddly, demons. When a family has warriors and demans as ancestors, that means all women that are Chungs-and become Chungs when married-are going to be pregnant with a boy and a girl. The Ancient Scroll never did say how many the women would have at a time, or how many they'd have in a lifetime.
"Well, we just wanted to check in with you, baby sister," Kakeru said.
"Thanks guys," Lei hugged her brother and sister.
Later that day, Cameron came in with some news- good and bad.
