But I especially hate dogs. They make me quiver. You see, back when I was a young kit'n, I was attacked by a chocolate lab and *you're going to laugh at this, but please spare me* was bitten on the a**. Yep, I was bitten on the butt by a dog. -shudders- That's the main reason why I hate dogs. I tolerate some, they don't try to bite, but others, well you can forget me and the mutt ever being friends. I think some of them are cute, like pug puppies *all puppies, actually but especially those puppies* but I am not like Melody in Josie and the Pussycats. I know that puppies grow up and become -shudder- Dogs. Filthy, whiny, disgusting, obeys-everything-you-tell-them Dogs! I guess that's why I like cats.
You see, with cats, they come to you when they please, they don't grovel for your attention *if they ever do, feed them and get rid of those Dogs!* They don't fall madly in love with you at first pet. Sure, they show you that they like ... no, tolerate ... you by purring *god I love that sound! heart * but it don't mean you have their love forever. They'll come back to you when and if they please. They treat you as you treat them. Not to mention that they are a solid judge of character. And they're beautiful, both in youth and rickety old age. They can see right into and through your soul.
Aren't they wonderful creatures? But I suppose the main reason I love a cat *other than they aren't Dogs* is the fact that they are the closest thing I've seen in animals that are sooo like humans. You can't deny it. And I think that's why males love Dogs. Because the feline reminds them of their counterparts: Females. And other human beings...
