OK, so I know I've been lazy about my journal entries so I'd like to take this entry to share something I wrote about my new philosophy on life. Here's what I wrote:
Have you ever woken up one morning and wondered where you were or what you were doing there? You were in a place that was, unfamiliar to you, and you didn’t know what to do. You weren’t in your “Comfort Zone” or your “Safe Haven”. Well this is how we should be as Christians every day. God tries to pull and stretch us to the point where we’re always willing to do what he says when he says it even if it’s ‘uncomfortable’. This may have happened to you: you hear God tell you, “Go talk to that kid sitting there alone” and you don’t do it because you were afraid of what other people would think about you, be honest to yourself we’ve all done it. However you may not realize it but in that short time you’ve allowed other people to dictate you life and you’ve let them prevent that kid’s salvation. We’ve all done these sorts of things but the truth is who cares what people think about you, the word says: “No one can serve two masters. The person will hate one and love the other, or will follow one master and refuse to follow the other. You cannot serve both God and worldly riches.” (Matthew 6:24 NCV) It’s time for a reality check, the choice is yours: Who will you serve, God or man?
