Let us get the facts straight. You did not read my comment correctly, or I mistyped somewhere. I was talking about why OTHERS do it. Because its free.
I love music. I buy many CDs. But I don't go out of my way to buy a CD I already have (i.e its from a friend or relative), or one that has been burned/'stolen'.
I am, quite simply, enjoying something I would not have been able to enjoy otherwise. I listen to more music than I can afford, but, c'est la vie. I surmised that it is much the same way with fans of other genre.
Eh...I guess its 'stealing'. But its much more accurate to say that I'm just 'not buying'. They do not actually 'lose' anything, they just 'don't gain'. It isn't the same. Just similar.
