Trapped
I'm trapped in jail cell
Soaked in disgrace
I turn to run, but stand still
No escaping this place
Surrounded by four walls
Bleeding sorrow and pain
My mouth opens to scream
The sound piercing like rain
A single tear runs down my face
Forsaken and torn
It begins the river that follows
Despairing and forlorn
I collapse on the floor
The cold ground my own bed
A voice whispered to me softly
And this is what it said:
Life is a jail cell
It's not a fun game
Filled with misery and woe
It burns like a flame
You could never break away
No matter how hard you try
From its tight clenching grip
That holds you till you die
You may cry all you want
But what will that do?
It will just make things worse
You must learn to pull through
Stand up! You poor soul
Do not become bent
Between the four bleeding walls
And the thought of life's torment
