Germany is awesome! Part of the German class at Hazen went on a 30 day exchange to Germany, and guess what? I got to go whee But seriously, this place rocks. The trains show up on time, no polution in the cities, and the villages are fun. About the villages...in America, at least on the coast, we have our houses spread out covering the land between cities. In Germany, they have small towns where people are packed together, and their yard is the surrounding countryside. I like the Läger and the Jägermeister, but I really don't like the Weißbier, though the Germans seem to love it. The cars are all so much smaller here, and almost no one has a SUV. Every third car you see is a SmartCar, and the roads are a lot smaller. Even the Autobahn is condensed for the car size. Oh, and by the way, the Autobahn does have a speed limit (most of the time): 140 km/h. The school system here is wierd: they have 45 minute classes, the teachers move from room to room, they have different classes every day of the week, and if a teacher is absent, the students get a free period (not enough subs). The snitzel and sausage here are great, and they make a mean Cordon Bleu. They have this coke mix where they take a quarter of a liter of coke, a quarter of a liter of Fanta, and mix it together. It tastes so good! That's all for now, I may think of something later.
