It was late.. Probably too late to even be conscience. Talon glanced around before jogging across the street to the park. He ran straight to the large pond, actually more of a small lake, and sat at it's edge, prying his shoes off. He heard a small creaking sound, and looked around, alert. Nothing. He sighed, pulling off his socks and shirt. He looked around again, before snapping his fingers. An erie red glow appeared around him, as he dove head first into the lake without so much as a ripple. He stayed underwater for a few moments before breaking the surface again. Even though the water was freezing, he was quite warm. "I guess there are definatly perks to having a fire element." He said with a smirk, looking at his glowing hand. He laughed to himself, diving back under the water.
Footsteps. Someone was here. Noone was supposed to be here. Maddie turned around on the swing she had been sitting on, noticing someone running through the park. She looked around, jumping backwards into the forest behind the swingset. There was a younger-looking boy running through the park. About Maddie's age, around sixteen, a little taller, short dark hair with a white stripe from the back of his head all the way to the tip of his forehead. Just as she had been told. She found her target, now she just had to wait and watch. However, she was getting way too tired for her own good. She should have meditated to recharge her magic days ago, but this hit was far more important. She had already lost the majority of the ability to hide her wings. Bieng a faerie was terrible sometimes. Too much holding you back. She sighed, stepping into the open, and running over to the trees by the lake. Her footsteps hardly made a sound, as they pounded over the grass. She lept into the tree, fading into the color of the tree to hide herself. She couldn't mess this up.
