A faint try at this (Written Work)
Running into the darkness
Wet boots against cold asphalt
I can hear their steps, the cold
Rasping of metal against the ground
The moans of my tormentors
The instruments of Hell
Scrapes the ground
They follow the light, and so
I turn off the flashlight, and run
Blindly into the dark streets
They hear the faintest sounds
So I cover my mouth, screaming will
Bring no good
They see the slight movement
So I hide indoors
My back against bloody tiles
Cold sweat and warm tears
The faintest breath may be my death
A finger on the trigger
Even if I hide, sitting in the darkness
They would find me

I’d just be prolonging my death
I’d just be prolonging my judgment
