With donating comes great power. People learn to respect one and in turn, one gains rank with their fellows. However if you are donated to, the only right thing to do is be modest and accept, showing gratitude many times.
Most people won't agree aloud, but donating makes one feel better about themselves for helping another, and the one who is donated to feels better because someone cares enough for them to give something to them without expecting anything at all in return.
I hope anyone who reads this journal entry takes away from it the lesson:
"Donate, and be donated to, in wealths more plentiful than what you have lost through donation."
One prime example of this behavior off of Gaia's servers is the donation of blood.
