Oh man, that sucked. And I know who I was going to dance with, etc. And of course everything got f-ed up. Yeah, the DJ's were...retards? Yeah, they played rap bullshit the entire time. There were three slow songs. Every other ******** thing was rap. They didn't have a laptop there so they just played rap. The worst thing was that people enjoyed it. That they liked the rap bullshit. It was pathetic that they played "Candy Shop" and "Pick it up Slow" at a 7th and 8th grade dance. AND NOT ONE SINGLE ******** ROCK SONG. ZILCH. I gave him the Cd's. But they just played rap. Stuff graphically discribing sex, and I had to get a song approved to make sure it didn't have swears in it. WTF? The teachers were not supervising. When they play a song describing a girl waving around her "area", or a song saying "lick my lollipop," the teachers didn't notice the people grinding to it. But it was all rap, with people grinding. And the teachers were right in front of them, but they did nothing. Not a single rock song. That was all I wanted. ONE rock song. It didn't even have swears in it. We ended up giving the DJ''s mean notes, like a list covered in alternative songs that hadd "ARE YOU READY TO ROCK!!???" Scrawled on it. And we wrote all kinds of nice things on the request sheet. "I hope you never come back." "If you don't play a rock song soon, don't bother trying to get hired anywhere again." "Hmm. I was promised a rock song. SOMEHOW, I'm still waiting for that rock song to come on with only 10 minutes left on the last dance of the year." Please tell me what the Human race has come to. :? This is ******** PATHETIC. And have you ever had any experiences like this?
