At times, I ponder what getting up early in the morning is worth....
I considered all the sights and sounds one wouldn't hear otherwise, comparing them to
eight, nine, and ten AM.....and found out that getting up especially early in the morning EQUALS HUMOR!!! yesh, HUMA!!
It was 5:30 AM and I had a rampant craving for toast. Usually being a somewhat unorthadox breakfast-eater, it's not uncommon to see me munching on a cheese and pickle sandwhich while sipping black chai tea.....but this morning found me hankering for something average....
So I set the bread in to toast for 3 minutes, came back....and found absolutely NOTHING had happened....
Discouraged, I set it for 2 and a half minutes, and logged on to the internet, stomach making more noise than fireworks on the 4th of July. I tramped back over to the toaster and still found the bread soft and pliable...WHAT THE!! The oven was plugged IN, so why isn't this thing working!!!
Then I realized.....the dial was not turned to "TOAST" at all....
It was set to "OFF"
