Hm, I feel like writing a story right now. Don't ask me why, I just do. XD Hmm, what to write about... Well, I'll think of something eventually and I'll put it here when I'm done. On second thought, I'll put it up here piece by piece. XD Here's the first part:
A young white Draconian lay deep inside a vast rocky cave. The sounds of war echoed off the walls and reached the Dragon's ears. 'Why must we have gone to war?' She thought. 'I thought the other clan was our friend. All the same, I wish I could be helping my clan win.' This sudden war had been caused by a territorial dispute between the two clans. Unknown to the little Dragon, the elders of the two clans had been quarreling over the subject for the past few weeks. All the same, this war was not anticipated. The little Dragon, Aleirina, stood up as the sound of the war grew louder. She couldn't just listen to the battle anymore; she had to at least see how it was going. Taking bold steps, she began to walk towards the mouth of the cave.
Her footsteps made little noise as her claws scratched against the rough cave floor. An increase in light suggested that she was getting closer to the front of the cave. Aleirina turned around a corner and her eyes met the horror that was a war between Dragon clans. Her bright emerald-green orbs widened in shock. It was all she could do to keep walking down the cave. Though she kept walking, she could not tear her eyes from the battle. Burning blasts of fire lit up the twilight sky. The many red dragons of the opposing clan dominated the air. Aleirina searched frantically for her mother and father among the madness. Just then, an immense dark blue dragon shot through the air above her. Aleirina grinned as she watched her father blow out a powerful jet of flames. But what neither Aleirina nor her father noticed, was the equally large clan leader of the red Dragon’s right above her father. The red Dragon grinned and his eyes had an evil glint to them as he dove down onto Aleirina’s father. Her father roared in pain and fell out of the sky with the red Dragon holding fast to his back. The little Dragon watched in horror as the red dragon tore at her father’s wings. Her father whipped his head around and shot flames at the red dragon, but at that instant the red dragon let go of her father and shot flames back at him. The dragon fire created a small explosion as it met. “Father!!” Aleirina cried as she watched her father plummet helplessly toward the earth, with nothing to break his fall but for the trees of the forest below. “Father.” She repeated hopelessly, tears gathering in her emerald green eyes.
Aleirina cried silently at the mouth of the cave. The battle raged on even through her father’s death, though she did not understand how they could keep going. Had they not realized that they had just lost their clan leader? Aleirina’s mind was at a stand still. Grief washed over her small body and her muscles were numb. A sudden crash resounded throughout the cave and brought Aleirina back to her senses. She jolted up in alarm and saw a red dragon clinging to the edge of the cave. With a mighty shove, the dragon flew itself back into battle. Aleirina stood, a bit shaken, watching the battle; the impossibility of her father’s death still swimming through her mind. In her daze, she did not notice the red dragon that had spotted her. It was now racing toward the cave. The red dragon opened its jaws and spat out a huge inferno.
Aleirina shrieked and dove behind a stalagmite to save herself, which she did just in time. She cowered there for a few seconds while the burning flames swirled around her.
