Today was an interesting day for me. I woke up thinking I would do laundry and hang around the house. I was wrong. Richard calls me and asks me to go to the store to pick up pizzas and sodas for youth tonight. I was really happy because this gave me an excuse to get out of the house. Well, for some reason I'm impulsive today (I even licked a bar of soap just for the experience) so I got on the bus and went on my way to Wal-Mart. Shopping was fine, I knew I had to get back on the bus so I didn't get too much stuff, no more than 2 bags and the pizzas, but as I walked out of the store I realized I had quite a dilema on my hands. One of the bags contained two twelve packs of canned sodas and the two pizza's were the biggest they had, sixteen inches. I'm a small girl and carrying all that plus one extra bag plus my purse was going to be very difficult.
I managed to get on the bus without too much trouble, but once I got off at my stop I had around six blocks before I reached my house! Two steps away from the bus, the bags holding the soda break and I'm standing on the corner all by myself. Luckily for me, the 'Horny Guy' aka Mexican who pushes a cart selling snack foods (we call him the horny guy 'cause his cart has the most annoying sounding horn), was at the corner and noticed me struggling with my bags. He doesn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish but he picked up the sodas carried them half way to the house for me. I was sooooooo grateful. He probably would have carried them all the way for me, but I felt bad for having him carry my stuff and leaving his cart unattended, so I told him he'd carried it far enough I could make it the rest of the way. Well, everytime I reached another corner I had to stop because the stuff was just too heavy. Finally, my house was only around the corner and I couldn't carry the soda bags anymore! I hid them in the corner persons bushes and took the pizza to the house and then came back for the sodas... I felt so innovative.
Now my arms hurt really bad and I have to go to the church and make pizza
