I just finished reading Stephenie Meyers' "Twilight" trilogy, and I totally agree with her that vampires ROCK! My friends, who are scattered about the Gaia Network, have also read this, but totally disagree with how I feel about Jake. I cried for about a half hour when I finished Eclipse. The only other person that feels the same about Jake as I do is Krissy. I could NOT get over how Bella just kissed him, and then dumped him. Whenever I listen to the lyrics of a song, I instantly think of something coinciding with the Twilight books. For example, My Chemical Romance's "The Sharpest Lives"--

"So why don't you blow me a kiss before she goes?
Give me a shot to remember,
And you can take all the pain away from me,
a kiss and I will surrender,
the sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead.

A light to burn all the empires,
So bright the sun is ashamed to rise and be,
In love with all of these vampires,
So you can leave like the sane abandoned me,

There's a place in the dark where the animals go,
You can take off your skin in the cannibal glow,
Juliet loves the beat and the lust it commands,
Drop the dagger and lather the blood on your hands, Romeo."

In the first stanza, I thought about the fight at the end of Eclipse with Jacob and Bella kissing--blow me a kiss b/f she goes/take the pain away from me-- and then him running off to fight. For the second stanza, I was thinking about Jake and how he hates the vampires and him thinking about Bella and Edward--in love with all of these vampires/leave like the sane abandoned me--and then Bella leaving him. The last stanza reminded me of Jake and the La Push pack changing into their wolfish parts--animals go/cannibal glow--and then when Bella and Edward talk about her Wurthering Heights book--Juliet/Romeo.
There's so much more I want to say, but I guess it can wait for next time.
