i'm danceing, spinning, twirling, higher and higher into the glorious night sky. leaving it all behind, school, parents, this entire steel trap of a town. i'm just drifting into space, floating from one set of open arms to another. i float higher into the sky and discover the wonderous sight of the crescent moon, and realize that stars are made of the many wishes people send up into space each night. i go further and further into the darkness, although i can see clearly. i go beyond all that is known by man and continue, passing through unknown regions of space. finally, i come down on a planet covered in black and red roses. there in the center of all these roses is a single guy with outstretched arms. i run into those arms, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is who i was meant to be with, then i look up to discover he has no face. i let out a scream and pull away..and then...
i wake up in a cold sweat realizing it was only a dream. but that feeling of freedom and that feeling of it just being right clings to me through what remains of the sleepless night and the ever approaching day. those feeling will never leave
