Part 1- First Team 31

After a successful five year campaign of terror, Pentex finally catches up with Ichiro. For too long has this wandering Ronin been a thorn in their side. Death is too good for him. So they send Team 31 to keep an eye on him, and to take him hostage if he tries anything else. Then the fun will begin.

Team 31 recently suffered a rather crushing defeat at the hands of Aoi Tsukai, when three of its members (including the team leader) were greviously wounded. The defeat was enough to send them into hiding for the time being, though they shall be back, and in greater numbers. Pentex will likely offer them better equipment, as well as an additional team or two in support.

Team 31 consists of:

"Saucy Jack" Starling: The team leader, Jack has been around a while. A long while. Originally from Britain, this formor's origins and identity are shrouded in mystery. Even his age is unknown. He has an unhealthy fixation with young women who are Prostitutes, a fixation that often involves ritualistic violence. It is rumored this fixation is more significant than many people realize, perhaps offering a key to his identity. Over the years, Jack has become increasingly unstable, and has more difficulty controlling his urges.

Miss Davenport: A formor of the Feracoti breed, meaning she was born half human-half bane. Her mother, the wife of a wealthy Pentex executive, was unknowingly impregnated by a bane. Around her 10th birthday, her long suffering mother apparently killed herself, slitting her wrists in the bathtub. It's an incident Miss Davenport still refuses to talk about. Miss Davenport literally grew up around Pentex, but unlike her father, she enjoyed getting her hands dirty, and enlisted with the First Teams as soon as she was old enough, at age 15. Like all Feracoti, she can hide her powers and appear perfectly normal, though she still exudes Wyrm taint to those who can sense such things. Although rather attractive in her fully human form, Miss Davenport is cold and emotionally detatched. She is a company woman to a fault, more so than even her fellow teammates, and her every thought and action is dedicated to furthering her current mission.

Elias Rupert: A former Special Forces operative, jaded by the missions he performed for a seemingly ungrateful government. Crippeled in a motorcycle wreck, he spent months in a hospital, forgotten by the government he served. As his hatred festered, Pentex approached him with a special offer: submit to an experimental procedure that would restore his mobility, and then work for them. Elias agreed. Unbeknownst to him, part of the procedure involved possession by a Bane. Transformed into a Formor, Elias not only regained his former mobility, but actually became more agile than ever. He also gained numerous stealth oriented abilities. The procedure came with a cost, however. He is permanently mute, and requires a specially designed ventilator (in the form of a gasmask) to breathe. In addition, certain powers prove detrimental to him in prolonged use.

Ex-Members

Kimiko: The newest and youngest member of the team, Kimiko is a Ragabash Black Spiral Dancer. Although Homid by birth, she normally appears in either Crinos or Lupus form. When in Homid form, she appears as an attractive Japanese girl of about 21. Regardless of what form she's in, her demeanor varies from flat and emotionless, to nearly catatonic, to hyper with a demented giggling. Ichiro's younger sister, she was captured by Pentex First Teams during an attack on his brother's pack. Pentex "loaned her" to the Black Spiral Dancers, who tortured her and forced her to walk the Spiral. Her mind broken by the ordeal, she was returned to Pentex and appointed to Team 31.

Gurohl (Deceased): Towards the end of his life, this Lupus Black Spiral Ahroun became a liability. Sadistic, masochistic, cannibalistic, and filled with hate and rage for just about everything, including himself, he became more violent and self-destructive than even Jack was willing to tolerate. Only his affection for Kimiko kept him relatively under control. After Team 31 was defeated the first time by Aoi, Jack sent Gurohl after her for one last tussle. During the fight, Aoi sliced him to ribbons with her Kazechi. In human form, Gurohl appeared as young man dressed in leather, chains, and spikes. His head was shaved and he sports strange tattoos all over his body. Whatever form he was in, his eyes were wild, bloodshot, and always open.
