Well, I am happy today! I'm getting ANOTHER placement, but in a college! This is towards my chef apprenticeship for when I get out of college, but this placement allows me to not only have high school credits, but a COLLEGE CREDIT!! Woo, I can't wait! The only problem with this is that this college is a hour away from where I live... But the good side of it is that if the college feels generous enough, they will pay for my taxi there and back, but the taxi is a hour there and back, but I am willing to make that sacrifice in order to get my college credit. That means that I would only have to go to school for ONE year instead of the two years... Or was it a year and a half?
Anyways, I'd be spending alot of money on college, and then some. I might decide to live with my friend, who goes to the same college that I will be going to and stay with her for the semester. I'm SO happy! I'll be able to get my scholarship(?) in chef's apprenticeship in NO time whatsoever! Plus, if this doesn't work out all that great, I might decide to go in the mechincal works like my dad does. It's in the family blood. My cousin, who I haven't seen since my grandma died, is into mechanics as well.
UPDATE - I CAN GO! Woot! Now I just have to wait...
