A small girl the age of seven sat in the corner of the room, her knees were up to here chest. She refused to cry, almost choking herself on her own tears. She had just been through what no child should go through. Ever. Her drunken Father had just killed her only friend in the world. Her Mother. He walked over to her. Grabbing her by the hair and holding her to his face.
"This is what'll happen to you if you step out on line!" He screamed at her throwing her to the wall as she slid down it. A wet sensation ran down her neck as she realised. She was bleeding. Gathering all the strength she had she stood and murmmered under breath.
"No Father. It will happen to you."
