here i am now
standing along a corner,
taking the pictures of yesterday's memoirs,
with a friend i longed,
who showed myself the real me.
then, as i clicked the button,
and as the film rolled to thirty-sixth,
i found myself with him,
rewind through the past,
mine was blue and him was yellow,
smiles in our faces
revealed our happiness,
I, showing my love to him
And he, showing his to me.

love, it is, of friendship,
fulfilled the unfinished paradox
of my maze life,
which completed the jigsaw
puzzling around my psyche,
then, as he put the missing part,
tears shed, nostalgic, upon my face.
i remember the days, ecstatic and euphoric,
when i'm with him and he's with me,
is a picture of yesterday,
when he kissed my tears away,
and embraced the pain inside.

happiness, it is, reborn through,
but longing for him, and the moments with him,
elided and swallowing smiles,
reminiscing the past through the windows of the picture,
then the picture never faded,
remained in my heart,
with the root dominating the heart,
wrapping with the walls of sadness,
exposed not by the beams,
but saturnine do shine.

now blindness is in my eyes,
i couldn't see the pictures,
of me and him, with our smiles,
but now is just a memory,
to think of it is a waste,
for i must cherish today
and think about the times of tomorrow.

where am i today?
that's the question.
then i recalled the past.
i'm on my yesterday, from the day
when i'm alone, distance over me and him,
where regrets brought all of the pain,
of why i wasted yesterday's free,
and it is only in my mind
where i can bring back time.
it is from the past,
where present is behind,
I and he, in the picture, rewind.
