AKOUJI: CHAPTER TWO, PART TWO
It was you standing there, Ganuma. It was back when you were scrawny, before you started fighting with your body. I had seen you in battle before, but you were nowhere near as good as you are now.
"What do you want? I said leave." I told you, in my most P.O.ed voice. You just stood there, watching me. I was wondering if maybe you were deaf, but if so, you would have left when you saw everyone else leave.
"I wanted to make sure that you were alright," you told me, not even caring if I didn't want you to be there. "I was the first one to the scene of the battle. Because of that, I was one of the people who had to carry your parents off to the morgue. I saw the wounds, and I want to make sure you don't die, too."
"What, nothing about, 'what happened?' or 'how did you survive?' You just want to watch me, to make sure I am okay?" I asked you, still not understanding.
"Well, I'm not like them." You told me, causing me something else to ponder.
"How? How are you unlike all of those idiots who don't know what it is like to lose someone you love? Huh? Why don't you answer that, and maybe I will let you stay!!" I yelled, not even thinking about what I was saying.
"That's just it. I lost all of my friends in a fire a few years ago. Ever since then, everyone has shunned me, made me an outcast. Everyone thought I had caused the fire..." you answered, beginning to cry.
"I don't believe you!! You are just making that up to get on my good side!!" I screamed, as loud as I could. I heard the heart rate monitor speeding up, but I ignored it. "You are just like the rest of them!! Tell me, did all of your friends live in the same house?! Huh?! Is that how they all died in a single fire?! YOU ARE A LIAR!!!"
The heart rate monitor got alarmingly fast, and the last thing I saw was the others rushing into the room before everything went dark.
