I recently saw Wicked. For those of you who don't know, Wicked is a Broadway play about the "Wicked" Witch of the West, Glinda, and their dealings with the Wizard of Oz and how they met in school and became friends and such. It was truly amazing. The actors/actresses (My commendations to the entire cast, Especially Idina Menzel who played Elphaba, The Wicked Witch, Kristin Chenoweth, who played Glinda, Christopher Fitzgerald, who played Fiyero Elphaba's love and also becomes the Scarecrow, and Joel Gray, The Wizard.) By the end of the show I was awestruck. I was even blown away by the end of the first act with it's spectacular closer "Defying Gravity" (Which I would like to share with you). To those of you who are looking for a great CD I reccomend buying the soundtrack. Every song leaves you wanting more.



Glinda: Elphaba, why couldn't you stay calm for once,

Really it's not the same effect if you don't actually listen to the song. So buy the CD or download at least this song! You won't regret it!!!!!!!!!
