I changed the name of my journal. It will now be named after my Japanese name: 高橋里香のジャーナル (Journal of Rika Takahashi).
To get one thing straightened out (no, no one has done this, but I'm just letting people know ahead of time): when I post up things in Japanese, it is from my own translation. Meaning that I do not go to websites that will automatically translate my messages. A language bar is installed in my laptop that will allow me to type in the Japanese language, so everything I say will come from things that I already know. The only time I actually use a translation system is to make sure that I used the correct characters for a word.
So no, I do not do this:
*types in "My name is Rika Takahashi" and clicks "translate"*
I have done this in the past, months before taking my Japanese class. To further prove to you that I do not use translation systems online:
Watashi no namae wa Takahashi Rika desu. Nihongo benkyoushimasu. Kyou, mizu wo nomimasu. Kinou, genki deshita. Kyou, bangohan wo tabemasu. Juuhassai desu to gakkusei desu. Amerikajin desu.
"My name is Rika Takahashi. I study Japanese language. Today, I drank water (totally random). Yesterday, I was fine. Today, I ate dinner. I am 18 and I am an undergraduate student. I am American.
So yeah, totally random stuff. I'm listening to music, so I can't think of much stuff to add to that....
