I had spent about three days with Goober and then I noticed his outfit was really torn up. He was now able to eat more normal food after a few big meals of that orphan food. I decided then that tomorrow I'd get him some new clothes. "Hey Goober its time for bed," I called. He came down the stairs wearing a night shirt I had given him. "I really like it here Toky I actually have a bed and get to use three blankets a night plus I never thought normal food could taste so good," he said," what are we going to do tomorrow?" "Well how about we go shop for some new clothes for you," I said. " Really Toky really we can I can't wait!" He said with a huge grin on his face. This kid was really growing on me at first I was disgusted by his taste in food, but now he was seeming more and more like a normal kid. "Only a few more days to X-mas as well what would you like as a gift," I asked. He mumbled something I didn't hear and then said," how about some cookies, and toys like a water gun or a bike maybe". He smiled then but it seemed odd like it was fake. "Well you better head off to bed a long day of shopping tomorrow," I said. "Okay Toky good night," he replied with a yawn. "Night Goober."
