New Year's Eve. That one night that's so special. I don't see the difference. But this is no time for philosophy. Let's compare the new year to the old one. I got to know Kiba better, and he really turns out to be a nice guy. Hm, oh yeah, and I think the biggest difference between 2007 and 2008 for me is the fact that my little sister, Alice, hates me now. It was inevitable really, she was gonna hate me at some point. I just hope that now that that bond has been broken, I can find a way to talk to her about everything that has been going on these days. Everyone seems to be sick of fighting and yet everyone hides from each other, afraid to talk to each other. Most people say they don't want to start an argument, but sometimes arguments need to be held to resolve the problem. If only people would learn to stay calm, even while having a discussion, things would be a lot easier. If two sides could just communicate, in a calm and open manner, then problems wouldn't escalate to such drama's. Hatred is such a useless emotion, all it does is shroud one's eyes from reality, making their own beliefs seem the only ones. If people weren't so little minded and tried to listen to each others opinions, a solution would be found most of the time. One must also be determined to solve a problem when getting into an argument, otherwise that argument will just resolve in more problems, more hatred, and the shattering of bonds of friendship and sometimes even love... If only people could stay calm, focus on the solution, listen to each other without judging, the world would be a better place. I'm afraid these are the word of an idealist, one who desires nothing more then for people to get along, without having to steer clear of conversations, discussions and arguments.
