"Beauty Is A Frame Of Mind."
Last Year When I Heard A Co-Worker Of My Mother's Say This, I Took It Into Consideration.
After About 3 Weeks Of Pondering This I Decided To Test It.
I First Decided To Only Have A Positive Outlook On My Physical Appearance, Mot In Particular, My Face.
A Week Went By With The Normal Outfit, Normal Make-Up, Same Old, Same Old. One Thing Was Different However. I Kept Thinking Throughout The Week Of How Beautiful I Was. Not In A Narcissistic Way, In A Unique Positive Way.
In The Beginning I Thought Of, "No Matter What Other People Think, Say, Or Do, I Am Beautiful."
Then It Became, "People Around Me Will Be Attracted To My Physical Appearance."
Eventually It Evolved Into, "Everyone Is A Good Person With Their Own Beauty, Not A Single Person Can Be Ugly."
I Removed The Negative Words Such As Ugly, Disgusting, Nasty, Etc. From My Personal Dictionary.
Test Day For Me Finally Arrived. On A Casual Monday With Optimism In The Air I Began My Day With No Make-Up, No Hair-Styling, No Pretty Clothes, No Jewelry, And Not A Single Glamorous Accessory.
That Day At School I Received More Compliments About My Look Than I Did Any Other Day Of My Life And Most Likely The Majority Of My Life Combined.
Not Only From My Peers At School But Also From My Family, Elders, Teachers, And A Few Strangers.
With Each Beauty-Booster My Confidence Sprang And Grew.
I Told No One Of This. Not A Single Soul. And The Results Were Amazing.
Not Even To This Day Have I Told Anyone In Person Of This Experience, But I Share It With You And Hope You Take On This Challenge And Celebrate From The Benefits.
Remember, Beauty, It Is A Frame Of Mind.
