Well I've only just started playing Gaia, I'm usually on a site called "Neopets" which in my opinion is a tad similer to Gaia. I am however learning to love Gaia, simply because it's fun, friendly, and for a nineteen year old collage student.. it helps pass the time. I do however have some issues with this site. One being very often I'll be playing a game, or I'll be in town and I'll lose connection to the "server" and most of the time I wont recieve my items.

Example -- About twenty minutes ago I was in town. I had been there for quite some time picking flowers and getting trash and bugs, the "server" lost connection and when I checked my items none of what I should have got from town was there crying

Two, It's not very easy to make gold and everything cost so much!

Example -- Jigsaw, you can play this game about ten times and then it will start giving you 0G, now how fair is that? and yet even when it gives you gold its only around 80, the most I've gotten was 601 playing the hardest level and that alone took me almost two hours [not saying it takes everyone that long], so unless I'm online almost all day playing the hardest level it's not really worth it. I've noticed this is mostly all the games, keep winning in "cards" and you'll start seeing the ticket number your recieving drop. So for someone like me who isnt an expert on playing Gaia and making gold, it's not easy to come by the items we want being as I only make around 600G a day and most items [that arent trash] are around 3000G

Well other then that [I'll think of more sooner or later] this site isnt half bad, VERY up beat and friendy, I've only had two people whom I've had to report/ignore and for a picky [some call it uptight] person like me thats DANG good!! biggrin
