Yes, Laura was a hippo in denial.
A few years later, Laura died of mad cow disease.
Everyone who was anyone came to her funeral.
There was crying, laughing, and food.
They even set up a game of Twister.
It was posted in the news that Laura's funeral was a big hit!
Her gravestone read: Laura, The Blue Almost-hippo
Ten minutes after everyone had gone home, they all forgot about Laura.
She was yesturday's news.
