I need to stop saying that "it could always be worse" and such- It keeps getting worse
First my laptop gets wet "at least I have the desktop" the desktop hates me, "At least I have the school computers" I kepp managing to get on the glitching ones, a friend says she misses me, "It could always be worse" I say; and then...
Yesterday; on my dad and mine's way home, because the road was so slick from ice & snow, we spun complely around and the front end on my side of the truck bumbped up against a 10ft wall on the other side of the ditch. It was completly slow-motion, my dad just couldn't get control of the truck; usually with that ya can but... It caved in part of the bumper, grill, headlight, and the liscencplace is almost bent in half. I'm just glad we hit the ditch- if we had gone off the opposite side of the road we'd have likely "trippped" the truck over those bars on the side of steep hills under roads, and wrapped around a few trees while tumbling. That would've been bad
My dad and I are okay; we could drive away and everything, nothing broke off the truck, just bent, he's taking it to a mechanic and since we have a 2 hour delay he'll them be back to take me to school. The worst "injury" is the bruise on my leg from hitting the door handel; but I realy thing we were lucky- a cop drove by after we got back on the road- which annoyed my dad since he had to explain to insurance why he didn't call the police, but the cop was being followed by a two truch pulling a compact- and it wasn't compact yesterday moring- the people in that car probably wrapped around a tree!
Okay... I'm calmer now... I have an hour yet before I go to school, but I think I'll go get ready: later
