You scream and you assume that everyone can hear you. That for one instant in your pathetic little life, you’ve affected someone else’s life, even if it means a tiny annoyance. Then you relapse back into your quiet little world, and it’s as if it all never happened. No one remembers of even cares but you. You close your eyes and hide behind your CDs, vinyl records, tapes and mp3 player. You duct tape your mouth and fade off into a world created just for you by whatever author strikes your fancy. No one is the wiser. No one notices. You are self destruction in the most discrete way.
